Description

KLISC is organizing a one-day Induction and Management of E-resources Training session for new member institutions and refresher training for interested existing members at Kenyatta University Post-Modern Library on 2nd February 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We extend an invitation to you and your e-resource librarians to participate in this training, providing valuable insights into optimizing KLISC e-resources and enhancing your proficiency in using, accessing, and managing electronic resources.
Participation in the training is complimentary for all new members who have settled their 2024 subscription and the KLISC joining fee.
For institutions that have approved KLISC membership but are yet to make the required payment, those interested in joining KLISC but not yet registered, and current KLISC members seeking refresher training, the participation fee is Ksh. 3,000 per person. This fee covers the cost of training facilitation, including
refreshments and lunch.

There will also be a presentation on Drillbit (antiplagiarism software) and the MyLoft discovery tool and guidance on how to benefit from free trials.

Participants are responsible for covering their transport, accommodation, and any other incidental expenses.
